Our mission

Paws for Life's mission is to eventually give every animal a good home and a better future. The only way we can do it is if we raise awareness. Most people don't know how important it is to support no-kill shelters. Millons of animal's lives are in our hands. We can save those lives. Approximately 2.7 million shelter animals are euthinized each year. Together, we're going to take that number to zero.

How We Achieve Our Goal

Paws for Life was created to help homeless animals throughout the world find loving homes. We raise money by selling homemade items, because really, what's better than glitter, ribbon, and puppies? Then, we purchase supplies the shelters need and deliver it to them. We only support no-kill, non-profit animal shelters so more animals get adopted from them and they make more money to stay open and expand. Then, for every animal that gets adopted, one can potentially be saved from a kill shelter and their life can be spared. Approximately 2.7 million animals are euthanized in kill shelters every year, and we're going to take that number to zero. Through people's generous support of Paws for Life, we are able to support and donate to four animal shelters which means hundreds of animals are depending on us. We've already helped a cat survive leukemia, a service dog get training, a stray cat and her newborn kittens be taken off the street and found homes, and hundreds more animals find new loving homes, but there is still more to do. There are homeless animals out there who need us and our support.

Animal Homelessness

One of the first steps we have to take to end animal homelessness is education. Many people are not aware of the monumenntal struggle that most animals have to face. If they don't know, they won't know that they can change lives. These are sad facts to face, but this really is happening. Together, we can change all this.

  • Only one out of every ten dogs will find a home.

  • For every one homeless person, there are five homeless animals.

  • Approxametly 2.7 million animals are killed every year. That's ruffly 80,000 killed per week.

  • About 5,500 dogs are euthanized every day.

  • Five out of every ten dogs and seven out of every ten cats are euthanized.

  • Only 2 to 5% of shelter cats will be reclaimed by their owners.

The four animal shelters that we are currently working with to save animals are listed here. We are able to support them through your generous support and donations. Thank you from all the animals that found a home because of you!
